Amata runs about 20 events a year.  Town Halls usually do not confirm any particular event till the last moment, which is why we cannot show a list of coming events for all of the coming year.

Arts and Crafts Fair
every Sunday morning

We continue with our weekly fair at the sea side boulevard in the Port of Jávea. Every Sunday from 11 am till 2 pm (or later) we set up our stalls at the sea side.

Medieval market
from 3, 4 and 5 May

Due to the bad weather at Easter the traditional medieval market was postponed till the first weekend in May, to coincide with the Spanish Mother's Day. For the ninth time we will set up our original arts and crafts stalls on the esplanade of this stunningly beautiful village.

The troubadours, the juggler with his characters, the dancing bear, soap bubble shows and a great fire show at night guarantee a lively and authentic medieval atmosphere. Because of last year's success, we will repeat the contest for unique pieces made by the participants.

We open on Friday at 5 pm; on Saturday and Sunday opening times are from 11 am till 2 pm and from 5 till 10 pm, although on Sunday we close earlier.We open on Thursday at 5 pm; the other days we open from 11 am till 2 pm and from 5 till 10 pm, although on Sunday we close earlier.

Arts and Crafts Fair with craft demonstrations
15 till 19 May

This year the feast of San Isidro falls on a Wednesday, so it will be a five-day fair! It is held in San Isidro and Miralrío streets in the old part of town.

We offer more than 50 arts and crafts stalls, two tavern areas, children's attractions, soap bubble shows and demonstrations of forging, loom weaving and wood turning. We explain the process of fire enamel, horn cutting, making shoes, preparing arrope (a Valencian delicacy) and hand-sewing a leather bag. Additionally, you can participate in pottery and stone carving workshops.

We open the five days from 11 am till 11 pm, except on Sunday, when we close earlier.

Cercedilla (Madrid)
Traditional Arts and Crafts
24, 25 and 26 May

This fair will be held in the surroundings of the Plaza de Toros (bullring). On the Avenida de los Toreros we set up our Arts and Crafts stalls, there will be demonstrations of forging, pottery and loom weaving and the children can make their own craft piece in the workshops, enjoy a ride on the merry-go-round or have fun with the board games.

Inside the bullring there will be exhibitions of how to make sculptures with a chainsaw and sheep shearing, several games of tag will be played and there will be concerts of traditional music.

We open on Friday from 6 to 10 pm. Opening times for Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of May are from 11 am till 2 pm and from 6 till 10 pm, although on Sunday we close a little earlier.

Olocau (Valencia)
Arts and crafts fair, Iberian style
14, 15 and 16 June

For the second time we can organize the Iberfesta fair. While the local inhabitants recreate the atmosphere and life of Iberian times, we will set up our original Arts and Crafts stalls and show you how we work in our crafts.

And because of last year's success, we repeat our contest of unique pieces, made by the participants and we invite you again to vote for the piece you like best.

We open on Friday from 6 till 10 pm; on Saturday opening times are from 11 am till 2 pm and from 6 till 10 pm.  and on Sundays from 11 am till 3 pm.
Alhama de Aragón (Zaragoza)
Arts and Crafts Fair
21, 22 and 23 June

For the first time we can set up an original Arts and Crafts Fair in the Plaza de Joaquín Costa with workshops for children, storytelling, puppet theater and about 25 stalls of authentic crafts, where everything we sell we have made with our own hands!

We open on Friday from 6 till 10 pm; on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am till 2 pm and from 6 till 10 pm or later although on Sunday we close earlier.
Xàbia/Jávea (Alicante)
Summer Craft Fair with Artesanía de Autor®
from 28 June till 1 September 2024

This year will be the 11th edition of our summer Arts&Crafts Fair in the Port of Jávea (https://goo.gl/maps/rx5uWDjHiYs). 

From the 28th of June there will be up to 20 stalls with Artesanía de Autor®, which means that everything in the fair is hand made by the participants.  We open every evening (save a few days during the Moros y Cristianos festivities in July) from 7:30 pm till midnight and the fair ends on the 1st of September.

You can book per week so that the fair changes from one week to the next.  In selecting the stalls we take into account the variety of the fair and the originality of the products, to make the fair even better than in previous years!
Hondón de las Nieves (Alicante)
Arts and Crafts Fair
9 and 10 August

In the ninth edition of this fair we offer, apart from our original Arts and Crafts, workshops for children, craft demonstrations and, for the little ones, several puppet shows.

We will set up about twenty stalls, and like other years, San Juan Street will be filled with local stalls.

We open on Friday from 7 pm until one in the morning, and on Saturday from 7 pm until midnight, when the famous correfocs (fire procession) starts.
Medinaceli (Soria) 
Medieval Market
16, 17 and 18 August

We are happy that, after 10 years, we may return with our arts and crafts to Medinaceli.

We will set up a beautiful medieval market in the enchanting surroundings of the old part, known as La Villa, with troubadours and a and juggler who is also a belly dancer and a stilt walker. For the little ones we offer storytelling, craft workshops, a merry-go-round and board games.

But what will make this market so special will be the original quality of our craft work, because everything we offer is made with our own hands!

We open on Friday, the 16th of August from 7 till 11 pm, on Saturday and Sunday opening times are from 11 am till 2 pm and from 7 till 11 pm, although on Sunday we close earlier.
